Today we start operations with a batch of 1000 WU. We will use this to test the worker and check everything runs smoothly. Volunteers willing to help can ask for an invitation code once they have checked the requirements to participate in the project /

Hoy empezamos a funcionar con un lote de 1000 tareas que usaremos para comprobar la aplicacion cientifica y ver que todo funciona bien. We are now in beta. Computations going on / Ya estamos en beta, seguimos adelante con los calculos

After a few days of testing with small quantities of WU, we are moving to our beta phase with a first batch of half a million WU. End of Phase II

Dear volunteers:

All tasks of this phase have been processed. I would like to thank you all for your support and understanding, it is great to have a group like you willing to help and to provide all the time good hits and advices.

The project will be closed during August, but in September we will start working with new and more challenging WUs, and a new model is planned for October, once I have analysed the current results obtained.

As always, I will keep you informed of whatever is going on with the project.

Project offline the last 4 days due to router malfunction / Proyecto fuera de linea los ultimos 4 dias debido a averia en router

On day 5, November, our router broke and stopped working. It has been necessary to replace it. For this reason Falua has been offline. We are online again.

Network migration: project offline a few days / Cambio de la conexión del servidor, proyecto fuera de linea unos días

We are going to migrate our laboratory's Internet connection from the current ADSL line to the high speed dedicated University's network. This means that the project will be off-line a few days.

Neurona@Home continues with hard work / Continua con el trabajo duro

We just processed all WUs from current batch. Congratulations and thanks you all. These WUs required not much RAM (about 2.2 GB each). However, once this has been done, we are moving to more demanding WUs, of about 10GB RAM or more. Time for real hardcore computing. Check your host before joining!

Acabamos de procesar todas las tareas del lote actual de problemas. Felicidades y gracias a todos vosotros. Estos problemas no requerían mucha memoria (sobre 2.2 GB de RAM cada una). Sin embargo, una vez que hemos acabado con esto, pasamos a resolver problemas más exigentes, con redes de unos 10GB de RAM o más. Es el momento para hacer cálculos duros de verdad.
